Fact Sheet on the “Paperwork Reduction for Farmers Act of 2017”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), with co-sponsor Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), introduced the “Paperwork Reduction for Farmers Act,” S. 1578. The bill would expand the H-2A program to include year-round jobs and lessen important labor protections, including recruitment requirements for U.S. workers.
